How will we get to the wedding ceremony from Lisbon?We will be providing bus service from Portobay Marques hotel at 3:45PM to the ceremony at Quinta da Bella Vista in Sintra. You can also use Uber or Bolt to head directly to the ceremony at your convenience as it's fairly inexpensive in Portugal.

Where should we stay while visiting?Lots of options! If you don't want to think about it, just book one of the hotels in our Accommodations section, which is in a central shopping district. There are many options on AirBnB as well. Some neighborhoods we recommend are Chiado, Baixa, Bairro Alto, and Santos

Do I need a passport?Yes! please ensure that you have a valid passport. See more details in Travel Recommendations section

What is the attire?The dress code for the welcome event is cocktail. For the wedding ceremony, it's formal attire.

What about dietary restrictions?Please let us know when you RSVP so we may be able to make the appropriate accommodations.

What is the weather like in May?It is Spring in Portugal at this time of year, and you will enjoy bright, sunny weather during your visit. The average temperature ranges between 18ºC (64º F) and 23ºC (73º F). At night, it drops from 10ºC (50°F) to 18ºC (64°F). Please bring a light jacket.

Where should we go from Portugal?Transportation via Europe is very affordable! We recommend exploring the regions in Portugal or commuting to any of the other European countries to extend your stay.

Do we need to know Portuguese to travel through the country?No! Most citizens are bilingual/trilingual and are very welcoming/accommodating towards visitors.
